People often ask. Why the name X2 (“Times Two”)? Simply put, X2 is twice everything. X2 is Adrian Dutchin and Jumo Primo. Each one of these Amazingly talented Musical Artists, bring new meaning to the phrase “what you see is what you get”. Both performers honor & live the motto that “the ladies come first”, and their focus is on pleasing the “fairer sex”.

Adrian Dutchin started out as the lead singer for the band RNB group seven. He was instrumental in giving the group its unique sound, which he has successfully managed to maintain and embody as a solo performer.

Jumo Primo aka “Rubber Waist” has garnered his Skills from being a member of several bands both locally and around the world. Most notably was his involvement with the legendary act Byron lee and the Dragonaires, who he did touring in over thirty countries per year.

Adrian has collaborated with performers as Krosfyah and Machel Montano/ Xtatic.

Both Jumo & Adrian are accomplished songwriters. They have written all of their own material.

The X2 duo's first single “Krazy” took the Caribbean by storm! The first public performance of the song got a standing ovation at the National Sports Hall and left the audience calling for more! The music video for the song was then syndicated on all the Major Television stations in the Caribbean. The response was overwhelming.

The duo now had a number of charted hits & got airplay extensively in the US, England, The Caribbean, Central America, South America & performed in these regions as well.

X2 had their biggest performance at the Crystal Palace stadium in England for Guyana’s 40th anniversary of Independence, performing for over 15,000 fans!

Currently Adrian has been performing with the Soca band Krosfyah and continues to tour with them. For Crop Over with Krosfyah, he released the single entitled “Impossible” which gained rave reviews all across the Caribbean and North America! In addition to this, Adrian was a nominee for the best new Soca artist at the 2010 Soca Music Awards.

As “X2”, Adrian and Jumo won a total of six awards at the first ever Guyana Music Awards.

The awards included: Song of the year, Artist of the year and Best Soca single of the year for the song “Tick Tack”.

The two men that make up the X2 duo are a rare find in the Music industry. These young men display the right attitude that will surely make a mark in the entertainment world. For this duo the sky is the limit!
